Sommermann KG is an owner-managed family business. It all started in 1920 with the production of high-quality hand-embroidered table and bed linen. In the 1950s the company was continued as a ready-made clothing company for ladies’ blouses. In the following years it further developed into a supplier of fashionable light weight coordinates for women. Sommermann stands for loving details, perfect fit and the highest standards of quality and workmanship in the sizes 36 to 52.
The high-quality consumer priced collection shows uncomplicated all-day looks. A casual modernity for everyday life is complemented by elegant and feminine outfits for special occasions. High-quality materials are used, designed with our own handwriting. The collection includes soft jackets with matching skirts and pants, blouses, shirts and flattering dresses. Prints on structure or chiffon fabrics create refined, flowing outfits.
The company is run by the third generation of the family. We take responsibility for the region in which we are rooted and offer people jobs close to home. Also, paying attention to environmental protection and sustainability belongs to our DNA. We achieve this by means of short transport routes and for decades trusting cooperation with fabric suppliers and production plants in Europe.
Design and product development are carried out exclusively at the company’s headquarters. All merchandise is produced in Germany and other European countries
